A man who could not walk wanted to be healed by jesus. In our group for reception year two we are doing a series of bible stories that can be found here. This is a lesson about the friends bringing a man that couldn t walk to see jesus but there were so many people they had to put a hole in the roof and let him down. This is my version.

Man goes through roof to see jesus. In mark 2 we see a man go through the roof. This lesson is intended for preschool and out students really enjoyed the projects. The man is literally let down through the roof under the careful control of his concerned friends and into a situation controlled by the lord jesus christ.

This week we began with the man through the roof story healing of the paralysed man from mark 2 1 12. They had an idea. We made a craft using a square envelope for the house. A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood.

He was praying to god for help. The man was a paralytic pair uh lit ik. Man through the roof craft. They would find another way into the house.

His friends believed that jesus could make him well but they couldn t even get in the door. The friends climbed up an outside staircase and dug a hole through the roof. Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof jump in i can save you the stranded fellow shouted back no it s ok i m praying to god and he is going to save me. However the direction is not up and the situation is not out of control.
