Aside from the dodgy cover art this is clearly a winner and fills in a massive gap in the doors discography. Designed as a clearinghouse for every single the band ever released the singles does indeed take its. Track 1 1 to 1 10 and 1 21 1 22 are in mono. The singles is a compilation album box set by the doors released on september 15 2017 it contains both the a sides and b sides of all 20 us singles released between 1967 and 1983. Everything sounds great and true to the singles as far as i can establish. Look closer and the differences are immediately apparent. A vinyl box set containing 20 7 inch singles in packaging replicating the original singles.

All other tracks are in stereo. Track 2 7 and 2 15 to 2 18 are in mono. And a three. The sound of blu ray audio is simply wonderful but on my 5 1 system i only hear 2 channels more detailed than stereo but there is no any sounds from back speakers.

Released as part of the doors celebration of their 50th anniversary the singles may at first glance seem to cover familiar ground as in essence it s another greatest hits collection in a discography littered with compilations. This is one stop shopping for anyone who feels they need some doors but doesn t want to commit to buying the albums.
