Tent Getting Holes In Floor

I have used mcnett other brands include gear aid and stormsure seam grip to patch some little holes on my tent and i like the result.

Sewn in floor prevents mice coming inside the tent. Cut a piece of repair tape to cover the hole and at least one inch of fabric surrounding it. A hole in the floor won t impact the performance or integrity of the tent so personally i wouldn t hesitate to throw some tenacious tape on there and forget about it. Go inside the outdoor camping tent and trim the hole into a square or rectangle giving a 1 inch clip to the corners.

On the exterior of the tent start by cleaning the area around the tear with rubbing alcohol and a rag. If you have punctured a hole in your tent floor a patch may be the best option for repairing it. Lay the tent fabric on a solid surface and remove the backing on the tape patch. Once dry the product is flexible and resistant.

If you round the corners of the tape the patch will last longer. Patches can come with a built in adhesive or you may have to apply some glue to fix it to the tent floor. They say you can patch some bigger holes and i think it would be ok. Wife or children that are very concerned about insects snakes mice etc.

That can come in a tent without a sewn in floor. To finish use seam sealer all around the outside patch.
